It has become fashionable these says to simply agree that a lot can be achieved when we all go together, exert our efforts as a team, and push with one strength what cannot be achieved alone. And yes, it’s absolutely true. Team spirit, team speed, synergy, cohesion are all conceptions that became popular towards the end of the 20th century and into the wake of the 21st. And really, so much have been achieved through them.
While I hundred percent believe in that, this morning, I want to sound a note of warning. Gradually, complacency is beginning to set in and people seem to be substituting personal spark for common energy. It takes one tiny matchstick to strike a spark even though you might need a forest to sustain the fire. There must always be that ‘matchstick’ spark before we begin to talk about a burning bush.
DON’T EVER LOOSE YOUR PERSONAL SENSE OF SPARK. YOUR ABILITY TO IGNITE SOMETHING NEW ALWAYS. EVERYTIME.
Sure, there’s always a chance that you might fall flat on your face when trying something new, but there’s an even bigger chance that you’ll achieve even more than you have set out to do.Too many of us spend our lives regretting our pasts and fearing our futures therefore becoming complacent, only consoling ourselves with teamwork-ing, synergizing and cohercing.
If no one started the team, there’d be no teamwork or team speed. If someone didn’t overcome the startup inertia and muzzle the initial energy, there will be no need for any synergy. In reality, life is all about seizing the moment and making the best of it. Synergize, team up, work together, associate, but don’t ever loose your spark. That ability to dream a new dream, to create a new story, write a new song, authour a new book, meet a new person, get a new degree, create a new style… Just spark up a new idea….the earth needs you…to keep moving revolving. Do have a nice day.
